CHILLI CHICKEN

chilli chicken



INGREDIENTS:
  •  200 gm boneless chicken meat cut into cube
  •    Capsicum cut in cube1 cup
  •     Dry chilli slice 2-3 
  •     Onions cut into cube
  •   Soy sauce 1tablespoon    
  •   Thai chilli sauce 4 tablespoons  
  •     Garlic paste / chopped 1teaspoon   
  •    Ginger paste / chopped 1 teaspoon
  •    Red chilli powder ½ teaspoon 
  •    Egg 1 
  •      Vinegar ¾ to 1 teaspoon 
  •     ½ teaspoon Sugar   
  •    Cornflower 2-3 tablespoons  
  •     Chicken stock 1 cup     
  •  Spring onions for garnish    
  •   Oil for deep fry     
  •   Salt little

Method:

  •  Marinate chicken meat with chilli sauce and soy sauce, pepper powder at least 45 minutes
  •  Sprinkle cornflower on the  chicken meat with salt, chilli powder and mix it well. If u wants to add egg you can add it now. Mix it very well.
  •  Prepare the sauce in a bowl. Add soy sauce, chilli sauce, red chilli powder, vinegar and ½ teaspoon sugar and mix it well.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the chicken. Keep stirring to fry evenly but do not over fry, it tends to turn hard.
  •  In another pan add 2spoons oil. Add garlic ginger paste or chopped fry for 1 min, add onions, capsicum, spring onions, dry chilli, fry till they turn slightly soft
  •  Add chicken and stir well. Add chicken stock, fry on high 2 to 3 min
  • Add 1 tsp cornflower to a half cup of water and stir well to break lumps. Pour the mixture towards the end and stirring continuously. You can also add tomato ketchup if you like.
  • Remove from heat when the mixture comes to a boil and thickens
  •  It can be served with fried rice or noodles

Ilish Polao or Hilsa Pulao is one of the traditional dishes of Bangladesh.  Ilish Polau is one of those dishes which have few different cooking styles. Here Elish or Hilsa is cooked in plain yoghurt along with rice and mild spices.
